LINGUAE offers professional translation services, which are realized by humans. Our translations are of high quality, realized quickly and available for
low costs. We connect customers from all over the world with the translation skills of thousands of freelance translators worldwide.

1.2. Who can use Linguae?

Our aim is to satisfy companies of any size and anybody that needs professional translations or reviews.

2. I NEED PROFESSIONAL TRANSLATION SERVICES

2.1. Which steps do I have to follow?
The process is very simple: First of all, you have to register as a customer. Then choose the source language and the language(s) you need your
document translated to. Now upload your document, choose the type of translation service you want and finally realize the payment.

2.2. How do I register as a customer?
Enter our site for customers and choose between two account types: "natural and physical” persons or "legal and moral" ones. In case of being a
natural person, you should enter your personal information such as: user name, country or email address. In case of being a legal entity, you have to
add a little more data: the EU VAT number (only if you are a European company) and the name of your company.

3. ABOUT OUR TRANSLATION AND PROOFREADING SERVICES

3.1. Why should I use Linguae?
Linguae offers great translation services made directly by professional human translators. According to that, our translators are backed by degrees,
university degrees and by extensive professional experience. Our services are of high quality, fast, 24/7 and available for fair prices.

3.2. What kind of documents can be translated?
LIinguae offers a solid translation service for all types of documents like pdf, doc, docx or txt. If your document has a lot of content, or you need a
translation urgently, you can use our split function for free.

3.3. What is the “split function”?
Our Split function has been created especially for big documents and "urgencies". Using this function your document will be divided in different parts,
which will be translated in parallel by two or more of our translators.

3.4. How does the professional translation service work?
Just enter our website for translation services, register and follow three steps:
    1. Choose source and target language.
    2. Upload your document.
    3. Choose the type of service.
To finish the process you only have to realize the payment.

3.5. Which types of services do you provide?
Linguae offers three types of services:
  1. Translation
  2. Proofreading (review)
  3. Translation plus Proofreading

3.5.1. What is the translation service?
This is the general or standard translation of a document.

3.5.2. What is the proofreading service?
This process does not include the translation of the document, but only the comprehensive review and correction of errors in the document.

3.5.3. What is the translation plus proofreading (review) service?
This is the general or standard translation service provided by a translator of our community and afterwards proofreading (review) by another
translator of our community.

3.6. What if I the language I'm looking for doesn't appear as source or target language?
In case you need a translation from or into a language that does not appear in our list of translation services or proofreading services, please
visit our site for other languages.

5. PROCESS OF OUR TRANSLATION SERVICE

5.1. Who will translate my document?
The translation will be done by translators from around the world who are thoroughly chosen according to language certifications and professional
experience.

5.2. When will the translation be finished?
Once the document is assigned to one of our translators, you can see on your panel the time needed to complete the translation.

5.3. How can I communicate with the translator?
Once your document is completely translated by the translator, you can write him/her from your account, using the private panel. You can ask for
changes, comment the translation or consult the translator of your document.

6. PRIVACY

6.1. Who will see my document?
The document you submit will be seen by the translator, who will translate the document. If you request a review, then it will also be available for an
expert who will check the entire document.

6.2.
Are the translators subject to any confidentiality agreement?
Yes, all our translators, without exception, accepted a confidentiality agreement before becoming part of our community of translators.

6.3. Is the service safe?
We use the latest security technologies that ensure total protection of all the services offered by our company. Of course, the confidentiality of user
information is fully protected as well. Nevertheless, safety is always subject to changes.

7. PAYMENT

7.1. How can I pay?
You can pay by credit card, PayPal or Linguae Credits. If you want to pay with credit card, we accept American Express, Master Card and Visa.

7.2. What is PayPal?
It is a free system that allows secure online transfers and payments. By using PayPal, the information of your credit card is protected by the best
security and fraud prevention systems in the industry. Currently, PayPal has more than 100 million accounts in 190 countries and regions.

7.3. What if PayPal does not operate in my country?
You can pay using your credit card or linguae credits.

8. THE SATISFACTION OF OUR CLIENTS

8.1. What does Linguae do to assure my satisfaction?

to communicate directly with the translator that is working on the document. Our aim is to offer you a highly qualified and quick service at a fair price.
Finally we want customers to be fully satisfied with our services so we can go on working together.

8.2. What if I’m unhappy with my translation?
We offer a free communication service between you and the translator, so you can make comments, ask for changes and talk directly with him/her.
If a translation doesn’t satisfy you, another translator of our network will verify and correct the questionable translation. If afterwards you’re still
unhappy with the translation, we will return your expenditure in form of linguae credits.

8.3. How much time do I have to accept my translated document?
You have 72 hours to accept the translated document. Otherwise it will be automatically accepted and approved.
