4. TRANSLATION OF DOCUMENTS
1.1. What is Linguae about?
Linguae is a professional online translation agency. We work fast, solid and 24/7. Our community consists of professional translators from all over the world.
Each of them is a certified translation expert. Our translator network offers a high-quality service to thousands of customers worldwide.
1.2. Who can use Linguae?
Linguae is directed to any business, company or person in need of professional translation services done by humans.
2.1. Which steps do I have to follow?
Please follow two steps: Register first and then upload your personal information to your private profile.
2.2. How do I register?
Just add your personal information (user name, country, email, etc) on our translator registration site.
Afterwards we will send you an email with an activation link on which you have to click.
Once you activate your account you´ll have access to your private linguae panel.
2.3. What kind of information do you request?
In order to be accepted as linguae translator it is necessary that your profile information is complete and sincere. You will have to enter your personal information, professional information, language skills, payment preferences and the type of notifications you want to receive. The data and information will be evaluated and has to pass our approval process. Once you´re approved you are part of our community of translators.
2.4. Why become member of linguae.com?
Linguae gives you the opportunity to earn money using your language skills - all this by working comfortably from home. Besides you can see the projects that are waiting for translation (pending jobs) on your private panel.
3.1. How much money can I earn?
Your personal earnings depend on the revenue share between you and linguae. The range of our revenue share with our translators is from 55% up to 75%.
In general you can assume that the higher your "quality level" is, the higher is your share and consequently your earnings.
3.2. What is a "quality level"?
The quality level is measured according to:
a) Your experience as translater at LINGUAE
b) Your dropout rate
c) Project fulfillments on time
d) Communication afforts between you and the customer
e) Customer evaluations
3.3. When do you pay me?
We pay our translators as soon as the client approves the fulfillment of the job, unless you haven't reached yet the minimum payout amount of € 50.
3.4. What happens, if the client does not accept my translation?
The Customer has 72 hours to accept and approve the translated document . If the client does not accept the translated document in this period of time,
the document will be automatically accepted and approved.
3.5. How can I get in touch with the customer?
You can communicate via the linguae messaging service that is available in your respective private panels.
3.6. How do you pay me?
LINGUAE uses the following payment methods: PayPal, bank transfer and check. You can modify your payment option in your translator account menu
(clicking on "MyProfile" and than on "Payment Preferences"). The most important requirement in this process is that you send us your invoice.
3.7. What is PayPal?
PayPal is a free system that allows secure online transfers and payments. By using PayPal, the information of your credit card is protected by the best
security and fraud prevention systems in the industry. Currently, PayPal has more than 100 million accounts in 190 countries and regions.
3.8. How do you pay me, if PayPal doesn't operate in my country?
You can choose another payout option like bank transfer or payment by check.
4.1. How does the translation process work?
Just select the file you want to translate and read the additional information. The translation has to be accurate and to be finished on time.
4.2. Who informs the customer, when I finish a job?
We will inform the customer about the status of the project. Besides, you can inform the customer personally via your private panel.
4.3. How much time do I have, to finish the job?
Before choosing the project, please check the time-frame in which the document has to be translated.
4.4. What happens, if I don't finish the job within the deadline?
If you don´t deliver the translated document within the scheduled time-frame, the document will be reopened for any other adequate translator of our community. We do not pay for projects that are not delivered on time. Therefore, please make sure you can finish the job until its deadline. Furthermore there might be a negative effect regarding your quality level (see 3.2.).
4.5. How can I increase my earnings?
Just consider that the higher your quality level is, the better is your revenue share and your earnings!
